Learn to Build Websites-2 Day Course

I propose to run a course in August where I will show people how to build websites using WordPress.

You MUST have your own websites in order to make a reliable income online and many people are reluctant to make a start because of the perceived difficulty of this process.

I can build a new website for myself in four hours. The first time I did it the site took me two days to build, so I propose to make the course a two day one. Location will depend on where people are coming from.

This course will cost £600 including two nights Bed and Breakfast accommodation at a good hotel. A buffet lunch will be included on both days.

This will be a hands-on course where I will help you to build your first website. I guarantee that at the end of the course you will have a four page website set up and know where you are going with it. I will build your website myself if you have not finished it by the end of the two days.

All you need is your own laptop computer.

Places are limited to ten, so I can give everyone the attention they need.

Use Your Teaching Skills…Run WordPress Courses

There are hundreds of people in every town in England who would love to build their own blog or website with WordPress. Once you have built a few sites for yourself and are confident in using the software you could run local WordPress classes for these people.

Most people are scared stiff of standing in front of a class, as tecahers it does not bother us a bit. Cobine your teaching skills with your online ideas and make real cash in your hand money in the offline world.

Use your school contacts to rent a room and sort out a wireless Internet facility. You do not need an IT room, just a room with lots of sockets for your class’s laptops.

It is a good idea to set up a special website beforehand, and to borrow or hire a digital projector and screen, or use an interactive white board.

You can make a profit by offering the courses without charge, but in my experience people only value services they pay for, so charge them £5-£10 per hour. If you have a class of ten for two hours that will give you up to £200, which will more than cover the room hire.

You can set yourself up as an affiliate with a web host and direct your class to register for web hosting through your affiliate link, which you put on the website you prepared in advance. This will allow you to earn up to $105 per sign up, ten signups…$1050 plus £200, not bad for three hours work and a day of preparation and running around.

Yes you can.

You get to keep your pension without any tax on the lump sum…

You can do exam marking, even if you do none yet, apply now and you will be offered some next summer.

You can do private tuition, earning £30-£35 per hour – Advertise NOW in local newspapers.

You might be eligible for unemployment benefit, though there will be a waiting period.

You can sell stuff on eBay, or start to make money online by writing articles, as I do.

You can set up wesbites now and start earning money from ads on them.

You can do all this now, just in case, because you will probably need some income to pad out your pension, especially if you are only eligible for an actuarially reduced one.

Two Day Courses – Build Websites and Earn Money

Maybe you are apprehensive about building your fiorst website. Perhaps you don’t know how to make it earn money for you. You need to learn bothm soon. Term starts in a few days and you will soon be in the rut of school, marking, bed, five days a week and will have very little time for creative thinking about your escape plan.

You can earn money from a website without signing up for some guru program. It will take time for your earnings to increase, so the sooner you start the easier it will be to get out of teaching, with an alternative income next July.

I am running one day and two day courses all around the country. The one day courses were already planned, but I have had scores of emails asking “How do I use this website I build to make money?”, OWTTE.

The two day courses cover this area on the second day. The first day of the two is spent building a website from scratch, the second is spent learning how to monetise that website, without spending a penny. Both days are suitable for beginners. You can just attend the second day to learn how to make your website earn if you already have a site.

The first course is in London in October. The cost of this course is £250 fo.r the two days, £125 for one day. The exact date and location await wriiten confirmation from the venue.

Another two day course is planned for Edinburgh in November. Further courses are planned in the new year in Cardiff, Dublin and Manchester.
